Like LDOE, Dark Days: Zombie Survival also contains a captivating storyline as its main focus. In this game, you play the main character and face the zombie apocalypse head on.


Storyline

After a short time, the earth faces a massive disease that disintegrates everything in seconds. The city was covered in blood and corpses as the earth became an uninviting, frightful place to be. An unprecedented epidemic has turned the entire population into bloodthirsty zombies. A guess why this happened? Because of an unprecedented event in human history: a constant struggle to survive. Military forces face complete failure when combating cities filled with formidable undead. Instead, they must resort to using nuclear weapons. You are one of the very few survivors left. Because of this, the zombies have forced you to leave your home in order to stay alive. However, that isn’t the only reason why you’re on a mission. You need to kill all of the zombies in order to give hope to humanity. Therefore, you need to construct a secure shelter, gather resources, create tools and eliminate zombies. The fate of the planet lies in your hands!


Gameplay

In order to survive the longest during a zombie apocalypse, build a fort and create a personal journey. Call Dark Days: Zombie Survival is a true survival game because building these things is how you stay alive. Starting your journey in a safe location means you won’t encounter any zombies. But when you begin your process of surviving, you’ll encounter much greater danger. Food is essential for maintaining a healthy character, so gather some early on. Gathering wood and other resources for your inventory is also recommended. In the forest, find some fruit to add to your luggage. Naturally, the first tools you create are made of a stone with a twig— just as rudimentary as they come. From there, you can gather additional resources such as wood and metal on which to craft weapons, bombs, motorcycles and more. Making self-defense weapons out of natural materials is key when fighting off the undead; don’t forget to gather anything you may miss along the way.
