Download the Grow & Conquer mod to recruit a formidable military force to defend the fortress from invaders.

Soldier cards are arranged from low to high levels on the horizontal playing surface. In the middle, a bridge connects both sides of the screen. On each side, soldiers are stationed behind a city wall that juts out toward the bridge. Place the cards in the desired location by touching and holding them; then drag them into place. Cards become soldiers placed in an avatar's position who attack the enemy once they're stacked in place. Establishing defensive positions at the city gate is essential before Additional Troops can be collected. Once this is complete, additional soldiers can be gathered for a brief window of time.

Different soldiers have different strengths and skills. They come in different costumes to indicate their strength and importance. Cardinal strengths include archers, swordsmen, artillerymen and guards. These first basic level soldiers wear simple white uniforms. Their weapons are basic and lack any exceptional qualities. Additionally, soldiers wearing defensive armor are later introduced alongside their garments being purple or red. Their weapons are lethal, and they reduce the target's health each time they attack. Defeat the boss in combat.

A truly great stronghold must be defended from would-be attackers. A supportive group of soldiers must hide behind the thugs as they attack. Subsequent victories against the henchmen gain the support of the public. These bosses easily defeat the army they confront— some even destroy the city they defend. Some appear as a two-handed figure with a fierce face, ready to use knives in each hand to destroy the city. Bosses are colossal and body-builder; they possess blood vessels floating throughout their bodies. When they strike, they reduce their enemies' health to half.


Map

A large nation is found in the middle of a vast ocean. A small island rich in resources sits between two red dashed lines on the world map. Areas are unlocked by meeting certain requirements in each one. There are different requirements for each area. Additionally, each region features different terrain. A player might need to defend a small tower in the middle of the map. Alternatively, they might need to protect the main castle of a region or the chariot of a supreme king. Players can restart the game from the beginning once they die. This can be achieved only by killing all enemies. The annual events or special events that the game organizes provide additional rewards. Players also earn Mysterious Gift Chests depending on the border color. These chests determine the value of any rewards inside— including products that players earn by defeating enemies in battles. New soldier cards can be earned by unlocking soldiers.
