Just as Florence and Krish’s romantic relationship cannot be reestablished, neither can the pictures of her friends. By the end of Chapter 1, she has replaced their happiness-infused images with new ones. By the third chapter, she’s sent her new messages to Krish. Even if they put forth all their effort, they can’t salvage their relationship with Krish. Similarly, Florence and her floating fragments are constantly disappearing as they try to put the pieces together. As seen in Chapter 5’s game, connecting the pieces quickly doesn’t work; the fragments automatically move away.
